Hi.

We want to live life intentionally, define simple and enjoy what is out our front door. For us it starts with living in a tiny house.

A TINY CHRISTMAS

A TINY CHRISTMAS

I love this time of year. It is the most wonderful time of the year. The tree decorating, Christmas carols, the nativity story, and family time make it like no other holiday. Christmas is something that I've been looking forward to in the tiny house. The part I was looking forward to the most was fitting a Christmas tree into our living room.

My Christmas wish was for a full size, 7 foot tall, Christmas tree and it definitely came true. When we had our tree decorated and in our living room I wanted to share it with my mom. I Skyped my mother and remarked that we had our Christmas tree. I turned the camera to show her my Christmas tree, "0h my, I thought your tree was just going to be a counter ornament." It wasn't just my mother that was surprised at the size of our tree or the size of our chimney😉...Santa.

Christmas in the tiny home does mean that I cannot invite the entire family to spend Christmas with us.  We decided to spend Christmas with my family in the great outdoors skiing.

I also found that I had to think extra hard about my Christmas gift wish list. You can dream about what you want, but what you want has to fit and most likely will have to replace something else. My wish solution: resistance workout bands (which I love using). Santa had other ideas though: backcountry skis!!!! Not small and now I have two pairs. Anyone want downhill skis?
